they will probably throw rocks into the water...
But throwing the rocks in the water will make them want to throw rocks in a tide pool.
And throwing rocks in a tide pool will make them want to sit in a tide pool.
But sitting in a tide pool will make their shoes and socks ridiculously sandy.
And when their shoes and socks are ridiculously sandy, you will take their shoes and socks off so as to not spread it all over the car. One child in particular will then stuff his wet, sandy sock down your shirt, because hey, where else is it supposed to go?

I mean, REALLY, Nantie Meg, it SEEMED like a good idea at the time, can't you understand that?!?
Too TOO funny! I love the progression of pictures. Way to go!
It looks like you had a great time during your visit to Seattle! I am sure you could've done without the sandy sock down your shirt. Did you scream? I think you would've been justified to wiggle and screetch as if the sandy sock was an ice cube!
Love you!
That is awesome. and so are you.
Awesome pictures and great patterning after the delightful mouse book. By the way, the only thing that could have been grosser, was if Magoo had put a sandy mouse down there. Eeewww!
